Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: New Holland, PA The CAPS Family of Companies is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and strategy across our organization. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and direct involvement in day-to-day financial activities. If you are a financial leader who is comfortable working in the details while guiding long-term business decisions, this role may be a strong fit. About the Role The CFO is responsible for the financial health of the organization across multiple entities. This role operates as both a strategic advisor and a working leader, maintaining visibility into daily financial operations while supporting long-term growth, profitability, and risk management. You will work closely with ownership and department leaders to ensure financial processes are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities Hands-On Financial Operations & Oversight Maintain direct involvement in daily financial operations across all entities.
Review and validate financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting for accuracy.
Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, and payroll funding to ensure liquidity.
Oversee intercompany transactions and allocation of shared expenses.
Manage Accounts Receivable processes, collections, and customer credit controls. Strategic Financial Leadership Partner with ownership on long-term planning, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Manage capital structure and banking relationships.
Analyze job costing, labor, and material margins to improve profitability. ERP & Systems Leadership (NetSuite) Lead the use and optimization of NetSuite across all entities.
Improve reporting accuracy and streamline financial processes.
Drive system improvements to reduce manual work and increase efficiency. Risk, Legal & Compliance Oversight Manage corporate insurance programs and risk exposure.
Oversee multi-state sales tax compliance and financial reporting standards.
Support contract review and coordination with external partners.
Manage annual financial reviews with external accountants. Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop accounting and finance teams across multiple locations.
Partner with HR on benefits planning, payroll alignment, and cost analysis.
Work closely with operations, sales, and production teams to align financial goals. What We're Looking For Strong working leader who is comfortable operating in both strategy and execution.

High level of integrity and professionalism. Education & Experience 12+ years of financial leadership experience.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, or multi-entity environments preferred.
Strong experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
