Clinical Researcher Level IIGrade: 23Salary: $21,625.50 to $26,100The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time position of Clinical Researcher Level II. Applications for a clinical social worker (25% time, 12 hours per week) are currently being invited. Our work is focused on evaluating research intervention for adult patients with anorexia nervosa. The position will involve providing a research treatment that emphasizes habit interruption to study participants. Supervision will be provided but experience with eating disorders is required and experience participating in research treatments is strongly preferred.Duties and Responsibilities:Screen adult participants for study eligibility and consentOffer informed consent for clinical research studiesConduct research intervention for adult patients with anorexia nervosa who are working on relapse-preventionDocument clinical interventionTelehealth-delivered behaviorally focused therapy; offer research treatment 1-2 sessions/week for 3-4 patients at any given timeParticipate in supervision for research treatment 1-2 hours weeklyAttend administrative meetings and supervisory meetings as indicated for assigned studiesProvide supportive counseling during the research processMinimum Qualifications:Candidates must have a master's in social work (MSW).Five years of prior training in cognitive behavioral therapy.Five years of prior clinical experience working with patients with eating disorders.Five years conducting evidence-based treatment for eating disorders.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in eating disorders research preferred.Experience participating as a therapist in research treatments is strongly preferred.Work Location: 1051 Riverside Drive, New York, NY 10032To Apply: Submit an application through our website at rfmh.applicantpro.com/jobs/.
