Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Lebanon, NH

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, flexible availability required.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. The RN will develop individual care plans based on patient assessments, coordinate patient care, and ensure effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate, revise, and evaluate individual care plans based on patient assessments and responses to treatment.
• Supervise and coordinate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including education and discharge planning.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and legibly, including assessments and medication administration.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other healthcare team members.
• Recognize and report abnormal assessment data and adjust care plans accordingly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of current Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
• At least 6 months of prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory.
• Current New Hampshire RN License or Compact License is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• The traveler must possess their own vehicle for transportation.
