Processes checks, generates monthly reports, and assists the Insurance Accounts Payable Supervisor as necessary. Acts as liaison between the company and insurance companies.Generates and distributes checks written from the company's trust account;Generates the monthly account current statement or report of bookings as required;Reconciles and corrects discrepancies between the company and the insurance company's statement or account current;Notifies the servicing Producer of any accounting irregularities;Ensures the insurance companies are paid in an accurate and timely manner;Assists the Insurance Accounts Payable Supervisor in the reconciliation of company payables to the general ledger;Other duties as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo (2) or more years of related work experience in accounts payableGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of accounting termsFamiliar with word processing and spreadsheet softwareAbility to file and operate general office equipmentAbility to work within a team and to foster teamworkProficient in Microsoft Office Products
