Sales Agronomist

Gpac is working with a well-established agribusiness in the Mid-Atlantic that is seeking a Sales Agronomist to add to their growing team. This position focuses on building strong grower relationships, developing territory business, and providing agronomic recommendations across seed, fertilizer, and crop protection.

The ideal candidate brings practical crop-production knowledge, successful agricultural sales experience, and a commitment to helping growers achieve their production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Selling seed, fertilizer, crop protection, or related agronomic services directly to growers
• Developing new accounts and strengthening existing customer relationships
• Making recommendations based on crop needs, field observations, and soil or tissue results
• Managing territory sales, gross margin, retention, and account development
• Coordinating with operations to support timely customer service

Qualifications:

• Successful experience in agronomy sales or a crop-advising role with sales responsibility
• Practical knowledge of regional crops and production practices
• Demonstrated field and sales experience, territory growth, customer retention, or improved account performance
• The ability to earn grower trust and follow through during busy seasons
• CCA or relevant certifications
• Degree in Agronomy / Crop Science / Agribusiness or relevant field of study preferred
