Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide individualized therapeutic strategies for clients by conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations that take into account each client's unique history and needs.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapies to various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client information is handled with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on treatment plans and ensure holistic care for clients, addressing multiple aspects of their health and wellbeing.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and seminars, to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are often those with limited access to traditional mental health services, encompassing a wide range of demographic backgrounds, cultural perspectives, and life experiences. This includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and interpersonal difficulties. Your role will be critical in breaking down barriers to mental health care and ensuring these individuals receive the support they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, showcasing your ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health counseling.

  • Competitive salary range of USD 70,000–90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
