Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1, adjusted based on acuity
• Administer medications in accordance with facility quality and patient safety standards, including Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA)
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within a Level I Trauma, Teaching facility to deliver safe and effective emergency care
• Maintain readiness to float to other units or affiliate facilities based on skills and census needs
• Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, working 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid, participating compact state RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (candidates with less experience may be considered)
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Willingness to work every other weekend as required
• Ability to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the 13-week assignment
• Comfort with floating to other units or nearby affiliate facilities based on census and skill needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience in a Level I Trauma or Teaching hospital environment
