Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour Shift: 06:30 - 17:00

Job Description: This position requires strong cardiac catheterization skills as well as preferred experience in interventional radiology. The clinician will be responsible for performing advanced procedures within a hybrid lab setting, which accommodates both Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and left/right heart catheterization.
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures such as coil embolization, filter placement, and vascular studies.
• Utilize advanced monitoring systems and ensure a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Interpret EKGs, including rhythm interpretation and holter monitoring.
• Act as a circulator and scrub tech, supporting the procedural flow and patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation, covering one week on-call followed by two weeks off.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required; interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Valid Florida state license and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Additional certifications like CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, and fluoro permits are also required.
