Senior Workday Systems AnalystAbout the RoleWe are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Workday Systems Analyst on behalf of a leading global investment firm. This is a broad, high-impact individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of HR and Finance technology, with functional ownership spanning both Workday HCM and Workday Financials. The right candidate will bring deep configuration expertise across both pillars and thrive in a fast-paced, high-standards environment where accuracy, discretion, and business partnership are equally valued.What You'll DoServe as a senior functional resource across Workday HCM and Workday Financials, supporting configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement across both platforms.Own day-to-day production support for a broad range of modules including but not limited to Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Reporting, Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Procurement, and Expenses.Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver configuration changes that align with business needs and Workday best practices.Lead and support the Workday bi-annual release cycle across HCM and Financials, including impact analysis, regression testing, and communication to relevant business owners.Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, domain policies, and calculated fields across both functional areas.Build and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and composite reports to support HR and Finance reporting needs across the organization.Support integrations between Workday and third-party platforms, performing functional validation, coordinating with IT and vendors, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.Perform EIB loads and mass configuration updates, maintaining data integrity across the tenant.Participate in or lead project-based work including new module deployments, organizational restructuring, and system enhancements driven by business growth or regulatory change.Maintain thorough documentation including configuration workbooks, business process maps, and end-user reference materials.Serve as an internal escalation point for complex system issues, engaging Workday support when necessary and driving issues to resolution efficiently.What We're Looking For5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with meaningful exposure to both HCM and Financials; candidates with deep expertise in one pillar and working knowledge of the other will also be considered.Strong functional knowledge across multiple HCM modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, or Absence, combined with Financials experience spanning areas such as Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, or Business Assets.Demonstrated ability to configure business processes, security policies, calculated fields, and advanced reports independently and with confidence.Experience supporting a complex, multi-entity Workday environment; financial services or investment management industry experience is a strong plus.Workday Pro certification in one or more modules is preferred.Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail, particularly around financial data, audit trails, and configuration governance.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and partner effectively with both HR and Finance audiences.High degree of professionalism and discretion, consistent with the standards of a global investment management environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.Why This RoleThis position offers a rare opportunity to own a truly broad Workday remit spanning both HCM and Financials within a prestigious, globally recognized firm.
