As a RYW Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of individuals with medical needs to and from medical facilities, appointments, and other destinations. Your primary focus will be on providing a comfortable and supportive experience for passengers who require non-emergency medical transportation services both in wheelchair and ambulatory clients.Responsibilities:Safe Transportation: Safely operate and maintain vehicles designated for non-emergency medical transportation.Passenger Assistance: Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.Adherence to Schedules: Maintain punctuality by following assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely arrival at pick-up and drop-off locations.Communication: Effectively communicate with passengers, healthcare professionals, and dispatchers to coordinate transportation details and address any special requirements.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
