This role ensures high-quality bilingual instruction aligned to Montessori principles, biliteracy development, and equitable outcomes for multilingual learners. Key Responsibilities Coach teachers in bilingual/dual-language instructional practices and Montessori integration Support Spanish Language Arts and content instruction (including math in Spanish) Monitor student progress in both languages; support data analysis and targeted interventions Ensure alignment to Montessori standards and Common Core in both languages Collaborate with ELL and Special Education teams to support diverse learners Lead bilingual professional development and curriculum implementation Support family communication and engagement in both English and Spanish Qualifications Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred Fluency in Spanish and English required Experience in dual-language/immersion programs required Montessori certification experience highly preferred 5+ years teaching experience; coaching experience preferred Shared Expectations for All Instructional Coaches Serve on the Academic Leadership Team Coach 8–10 teachers per cycle using data-driven, research-based strategies Support professional development, teacher growth, and instructional excellence Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and student-centered school culture Uphold Montessori philosophy while ensuring compliance with DC and charter expectations #J-18808-Ljbffr Shining Star Pcs
