As a GI Tech you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. You will play a crucial role in delivering top‑notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. Responsibilities Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and pain management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures. Cooperate with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Prepare equipment and anticipate physician and patient needs for GI procedures. Provide general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment. Assess patients prior to procedure. Maintain equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area. Clean and maintain equipment per Center policy. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Current BLS required. Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to healthcare. Strong customer service skills. Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly. Conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment. Team player. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal. Pay Rate $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
