Residential Elevator Mechanic

Southeast Elevator is seeking an experienced Residential Elevator Mechanic with exceptional mechanical skills, professional interpersonal communication, and a can-do attitude to join our installation team. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are a must, as the ideal candidate will be able to utilize their troubleshooting & diagnostic abilities in order to install various types of elevators & lifts. This role will service our Tampa, Florida market. What You’ll Do Ability to work independently and with a team Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills Excellent mechanical and electronic skills Strong appetite for learning and professional development Familiarity with common hand and power tools Willingness to travel up to 80% (most work is within Tampa, FL, but occasional week-long overnight travel may occur) Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and fluid-powered (hydraulic) systems Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record Requirements What We’re Looking For Install residential elevators and wheelchair lifts Work as a team of two installers on job sites Learn & teach new team members Multi-task with patience and diligence Demonstrate and maintain a clean driving record Safety awareness & compliance Develop safety code and regulatory knowledge Operate general computer equipment/devices Interface with general contractors and customers directly Other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills (Preferred) Certified Elevator Technician or Elevator Mechanic License, preferred Benefits 401(k) with company matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Cell phone reimbursement Professional development assistance Employee referral program Relocation assistance About Southeast Elevator For over 30 years, Southeast Elevator has been Florida’s leading provider of custom residential elevators.
