A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full Time, On-Site, Licensed Practical Nurse in Leawood, KS! (MIGHT NEED TO FLOAT TO OTHER NEAR BY LOCATIONS).

Licensed Practical Nurse Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The pay for this position is $37/hr
• The required availability for this position is Full-Time Contingent (32–40 hours/week) Includes every other weekend; may require floating to nearby locations M-F 8:30am-7:30 pm Sat 9am-5:30pm Sun 9am-4:30pm

o    Schedules will be created in 6-week blocks following 3 weeks of training

o    Shifts typically range from 7–10 hours

o    A standard week includes 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend

o    Some major holiday shifts required

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities

·         Administer vaccinations and injections (e.g., influenza, COVID, TB test placements)

·         Obtain and document vital signs

·         Assist with emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers

·         Manage patient registration, intake, and checkout processes

·         Support waiting room flow and conduct tasks such as reminder calls, scheduling, and serving as a chaperone when needed

·         Prepare patient care areas and waiting spaces to ensure a positive experience

·         Contribute to a mission of providing excellent, patient-focused care

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience administering immunizations and providing evidence-based vaccine education
• EMR documentation experience (EPIC preferred)
• Ability to obtain accurate vital signs
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED competency
