Position Overview The Senior Member Service Consultant is responsible for providing accurate, high-quality, timely, and professional service to members. They are expected to maintain confidentiality while offering practical assistance in the lobby, drive-thru window, or by telephone. Additionally, they will be responsible for processing, underwriting, and recommending loan and membership decisions within their designated level of authority. The position’s essential duties include the following: Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings, and borrowing members. Follow policies, guidelines, and regulations to properly identify and authenticate account owners and ensure the protection and confidentiality of non-public information. Process and accept loan applications, review credit reports, collect required documents, and underwrite loans up to the assigned authority level. Assist prospective, new, and existing members with questions, inquiries, or requests on new or existing accounts. Promote credit union products and services by identifying member needs and cross-selling benefits. Deliver timely and exceptional service. Build meaningful relationships through conversations and establish trust with the membership. Balance and maintain ATMs. Troubleshoot minor problems with ATMs and cash recyclers. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or designee. Fulfill requests by performing clerical tasks and preparing mail, fax, or email delivery items.
