About This Role The Registered Nurse in Endoscopy at Mass General Brigham provides excellent patient care in a compassionate environment, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Highlights Pay: $36.88 - $70.54/Hourly Location: Braintree, MA Facility: Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc. Department/Unit: Endoscopy Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Assess, plan, and evaluate the care of each patient assigned. Adhere to Post Sedation Care Unit (PSCU) standards of nursing care. Observe vital signs, IV site, and special monitoring equipment during recovery. Communicate nursing assessments to the physician appropriately. Implement discharge plans utilizing the Aldrete Scoring Criteria. Record physician orders and nursing implementation of orders. Administer medications used in moderate sedation under the direct supervision of the Gastroenterologist. Report changes in the patient’s condition to the Gastroenterologist. Document all patient care information appropriately. Teach patients and families aspects of health care that promote health and wellbeing.
