Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced travel Registered Nurses for the PCU/Stepdown unit at a hospital in Lewisville, TX. Candidates will provide specialized patient care during 13-week assignments on night shifts, supporting patient recovery and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech electronic system.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies, including dress code and infection control standards.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Meditech documentation.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating policies.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
