What You'll Do:

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care in the operating room and surgical units
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and manage side effects
• Document patient history, procedures, and care provided efficiently and accurately
• Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
• Support a range of cases including orthopedic, ENT, urology, gynecology, podiatry, general, and pain management surgeries
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification from AHA
• At least 1 year of relevant surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
