Java Backend Developer – Contract Role

Location: Whippany, NJ
Job Type: Contract
Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid

Job Description:

Strong experience in Java backend development and enterprise application development.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST APIs .
Experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies is preferred.
Good understanding of AWS/Azure cloud technologies is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Banking/Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
