License: BLS required - AHA ONLY

Certifications: BLS, CST

Must-Have: Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years of experience in the Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of the program.

Description: Shift options are available on weekdays, with rotating days off each week. No weekends, no call, and no holidays are required. The Surgical Tech will assist with various surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterilization processes. Skills in handling surgical instruments and knowledge of patient safety are essential. Experience with specific procedures such as abdominal hysterectomy, appendectomy, and general OR practices is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. A commitment to teamwork and communication is vital for success in this role. Compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean working environment are expected. Candidates must meet the passing criteria for a telemetry exam prior to starting the position. Flexibility to float as needed may be required. All certifications must be current and adhere to industry standards. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of patient care protocols. Experience within outpatient surgical settings is preferred but not mandatory.
