A well-established, high-volume Italian restaurant in the West Village is seeking an experienced Operations & Service Manager to lead front-of-house performance and overall guest experience. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive service standards, team development, and financial results.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, leads with accountability, and brings both hospitality instinct and operational discipline.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily FOH operations with grace, professionalism, and attention to detail
Lead service and support staff during shifts
Manage and execute private events and special occasions
Ensure smooth guest flow, top-tier hospitality, and consistent service standards
Handle scheduling, training, and team development
Collaborate with management on service strategy and feedback
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor guidelines
Qualifications:
2+ years of FOH management in a full-service restaurant
Experience coordinating and managing events
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Calm, solution-oriented, and guest-focused
Familiarity with Resy, Toast, or similar systems
Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
