IT TECHNICIAN

Qualified IT Professional to install and maintain computer systems and networks. The successful IT Technician will have a thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware, internet applications, networks, operating systems and infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will have troubleshooting abilities and a high level of attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesSet up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (scanners, printers etc.)Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionalityInstall and configure appropriate software and functions according to specificationsDevelop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performanceEnsure security and privacy of networks and computer systemsProvide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipmentOrganize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their workPerform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule, including a helpdesk management systemIdentify computer or network equipment shortages and place ordersTravel within a 60 mile radius to multiple locations to assist users and maintain systemsAfter-hours assistance, as necessary for business needsRequirements5+ years of proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant positionExperience in the Real Estate/Title sector a plusExcellent diagnostic and problem solving skillsExcellent communication abilityOutstanding organizational and time-management skillsIn depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networksGood knowledge of internet security and data privacy principlesDegree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant fieldCertification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)Applicants must have current, permanent authorization to work; the company will not sponsor work visas #J-18808-Ljbffr
