Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite | Overtime may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Rotate weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis
• Float to other floors as needed based on unit demand
• Participate in facility emergency response protocols as directed by unit management, which may include remaining on-site or serving on a relief team during emergency events
• Complete required facility modules during orientation as part of onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Compact or Louisiana license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, and CPI – all must be AHA-issued where applicable; CPI must be obtained prior to start if not already held
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (based on address on driver's license) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing expectations, including flexibility with scheduling and floating
• Prior experience with facility-based emergency response or disaster preparedness protocols
