ASRC Federal Cyber is hiring a Lead Access Control Clerk to support a Navy contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dam Neck, Virginia. The Lead Access Control Clerk will be responsible for daily access control operations while providing oversight and hands-on training to team members. The ideal candidate is highly professional, an effective communicator, detail-oriented, well experienced in security operations with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Must have a current active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months.

Compensation:

$25.01 + $5.09 health and welfare bonus an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Site Lead to schedule the ensure Access Control coverage for the organization.
• Lead and train access control and escort team members on established access control policies and procedures to include but not limited to daily badge inventory, clearance/VAR verifications, opening and closing procedures and daily operations.
• Support program planning, metrics, and GOV SME requests; communicate effectively orally and through written reports in specified formats.
• Provide oversight of the transmission, receipt, tracking, and destruction of classified material per DOD/DON policies.
• Support the government onboarding/offboarding process.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Two (2) years of experience in the area of access control for cleared facilities and classified control.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday with potential weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience leading access control or visitor management teams in a cleared facility a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience in personnel security and physical security.
• Active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Experience in the use of clearance verification systems, badge access and alarm systems and the escorting of uncleared (personnel without US security clearances) personnel within classified spaces.
• Knowledge of the Lenel Enterprise Control/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
