Deskside/ Desktop Support Technician

Desktop Support TechnicianWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and related IT equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite and remote technical support to end users.Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, and peripherals.Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.Support Microsoft Office 365, email clients, and collaboration tools.Perform user account administration, password resets, and access management.Configure and support printers, scanners, mobile devices, and conference room technology.Manage hardware deployments, upgrades, and replacements.Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary.Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications2+ years of Desktop Support or Help Desk experience.Strong experience with macOS (MacBook, iMac, macOS troubleshooting and support).Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and device imaging.Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.Strong customer service and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with JAMF, Apple Business Manager, or Mac device management tools.Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications.
