Desktop Support EngineerDuration: 6 month contract (with potential to extend and/or convert after 6 months)Pay: $28/HRWork Location: North AustinThis position is 5 days per week onsite (Monday-Friday)This position is eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision after 60 days. In addition, this position is eligible to enroll in a 401(k) after 90 days.We are hiring a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure while playing a key role in the setup and configuration of network environments for new office and facility locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across networking, security, and systems administration in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access pointsConfigure and maintain wired and wireless networks, VPNs, and remote access solutionsManage IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS servicesMonitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issuesImplement and maintain network security controls and access managementAdminister Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory environmentsSupport site-to-site connectivity and SD-WAN technologiesDeploy, configure, and maintain network hardwareCreate and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and disaster recovery proceduresAssist with network setup and infrastructure deployments for new office locations and facilitiesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar IT infrastructure role within an enterprise environmentHands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki networking solutionsStrong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, and DNSExperience administering and securing Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience with Active Directory, including user management, Group Policy administration, and access controlsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network and connectivity issuesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Experience supporting SD-WAN and site-to-site networking solutionsExposure to network security best practices and firewall administrationExperience with infrastructure deployments, office relocations, or greenfield network implementationsAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
