General ManagerThe General Manager will be responsible first and foremost for building and developing an extraordinary team culture. A dynamic self-starter responsible for overseeing the execution of efficient restaurant, concessions and event operations, the General Manager will maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. This hands-on executive management role provides a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations in all areas of the F&B operations, outlets and scheduled events. The General Manager and the Executive Chef will lead the opening and beyond as a united team!Required Experience and Qualifications:Embodies an upbeat and positive attitudeFosters an exciting work environment; maintains enthusiasm and celebrates successesAn inspiring, influential, hands-on leader who has proven skills rallying a team to achieve its highest potential and then driving it to the next levelMinimum 8 years' experience in food & beverage industry; minimum of 5 years in a management role in food & beverage industry preferably within a similar venueBachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProven record of effective conflict resolution and service recoveryExperience with restaurant openings, hiring, training, and maintaining ongoing operational excellenceThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with excellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer literate in systems and software related to the operation of the restaurantWorking Knowledge of POS Systems – Toast a plusWine and Spirits knowledge with inventory managementPayroll management and restaurant accounting experienceBEO and/or event management software experience preferredAcute financial management skillsStrong analytical abilityOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsEffective verbal and written English communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish cooperative working relationshipsComfortable dealing with the media, public speaking, and VIP groupsFamiliar with sanitation procedures, as well as standard food and beverage equipment maintenanceExcellent professional presentationAble to walk / stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overheadMust be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidaysPassion required!
