deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:The Automated Software Test Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency's GMD Weapon System program by developing, maintaining, and executing automated test capabilities used to verify mission-critical software functionality.Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited universityExperience Requirements:5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 years of experience with a PhDDesign, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testingAbility to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testingExperience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.Experience in C++ developmentExperience using Python and other scripting languagesExperience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolsetExperience with Gitlab or BitbucketAbility and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.Special Skills Desired:Security+ certificationGMD/MDA ExperienceJava experience/understandingExperience using CameoActive, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearanceApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
