Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift contract in Beloit, Wisconsin, requiring active ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
• Performs both CT and general radiography (X-Ray) procedures
• Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM (4x10s)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and CT required
• Current AHA BLS/CPR required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required; education verification required
• Wisconsin DSPS Radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
• Proficiency in CT and general radiography imaging procedures
• Experience with contrast media administration and IV access required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, equipment operation, and image acquisition across CT and radiography modalities
• Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure and ensures documentation is available for the radiologist
• Prepares and administers contrast media and maintains IV access as appropriate to procedures performed
• Initiates basic life support actions when necessary
• Provides practical instruction for students and clinical partners
• Maintains inventory and supply oversight for assigned area
• Observes universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identification practices
