This is an opportunity to bring your technical expertise, project leadership, and client relationship skills to a growing team working on challenging projects that help shape the communities and infrastructure of Northern Minnesota.If you're ready to take the next step in your career, mentor and develop others, build strong client partnerships, and lead projects from concept through completion, we'd love to have you join us.SIGNING BONUS UP TO $20,000Responsibilities:Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetingsLeadership of a technical or project related teamPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projectsDevelop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutionsManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standardsMentor junior level engineering staffUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policiesRequired Skills:Driven for successAttention to detail and multi taskingHighly organized and ability to prioritize workStrong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as a team memberAbility to create, maintain, and communicate project budgetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem solving skillsTravel up to 25% of timeRequired Experience:Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering requiredMaster's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optionalThree or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experienceExperience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferredProfessional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 monthsAbility to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basisBraun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
