Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join the LA office. JD below; $80k-$93k non-exempt; in-office once every two weeks outside of tax season, and once a week from January through mid-April during busy season. Additional in-office days may be needed based on workload and business needs*. *with limited exceptions, hybrid and remote work arrangements are voluntary benefits that the firm may modify or revoke at any time. Tax Accountant Assist in analysis on various tax projects for tax reporting and tax audits for both domestic and international offices Prepare work papers to support tax calculations Review state composite returns and withholding returns Review partnership tax return and related Schedule K-1 and Schedule K-3 Prepare sales & use tax returns and gross receipts tax returns prior to submission Gather data needed for transfer pricing reporting requirements for U.S. and international offices Assistance in preparation of projected state apportionment ratios for state tax planning purposes Assistance in reconciliation of tax GL accounts. Assist with data gathering and initial review of business property tax returns for various U.S. offices. Assist in fixed assets analysis and reconciliation Ad hoc analysis and special projects Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Prior experience as a tax accountant 3 years minimum of accounting/tax work experience Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Proficient with Excel Excellent written/verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
