RN InfusionA Brief OverviewThe Registered Nurse, Infusion serves as a care team member that specializes in the administration of medications and fluids. Assesses the physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient, and improves the care experience for the patient and their family. Responsible for the nursing care of patients in the infusion area. Coordinates communication with providers on behalf of the patient. Meets the needs of the patient in relation to education, screening, prevention and follow-up care.What you will doQualificationsGraduate from an accredited school of nursing Required andBSN PreferredRN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state where work is performed. Upon Hire Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required andACLS within 180 Days RequiredONS Certification (Chemotherapy Certification) obtained with six (6) months.
