Our healthcare partner in Athol, MA, is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment.

As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing accurate and high-quality CT scans. Your expertise will ensure that all images are captured with precision, contributing to effective diagnosis and treatment.

• Perform CT scans ensuring accurate demographic information and high-quality images
• Conduct daily CT quality assurance and record data for regulatory compliance
• Operate hospital PACS system to ensure correct transmission of images
• Coordinate the merge, move, and retrieval of studies between servers
• Assess radiographs to ensure proper patient positioning and anatomical information
• Operate diagnostic equipment to ensure proper image quality
• Review physician orders to confirm correct examinations based on clinical history
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, minimizing risks of falls and injuries
• Communicate effectively with patients, considering hearing difficulties and comprehension issues
• Adhere to policies for the physical security of children and prevention of abduction

Qualifications:

• A.S. Degree preferred but not required
• Advanced Registration in CAT Scan or Mammography preferred
• ARRT certification preferred; must obtain within one year from date of hire
• Massachusetts License to practice Radiologic Technology required
• CPR Certification required
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Need 1 year experience in setting
