Key Responsibilities for Director of Nursing:

• Quality Management: Oversee and maintain high standards of care across all nursing services to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

• Compliance and Communication: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while fostering clear and effective communication among the nursing staff.

• Resident Care Coordination: Assess and address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring that personalized care plans are developed and followed.

• Knowledge Sharing : Stay updated on nursing theory and practices, sharing this knowledge with the team to ensure the best possible care.

• Medical Records Management : Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical documentation and resident records.

• Staff Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide exceptional care.

• Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility with a flexible work schedule that supports both staff and residents.

Qualifications for Director of Nursing:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa

• Previous clinical leadership experience
