Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Ultrasonographer General in Saint Petersburg, FL. The position involves obtaining diagnostic sonographic images specifically for pediatric patients. The role requires working with a dedicated Pediatric Hospital environment, performing various duties related to imaging, data management, and physician order reconciliation. The Ultrasonographer will assist radiologists by producing high-quality images to support timely interpretation and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (4-10 hour shifts)
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two years of pediatric sonography experience
  • Experience at a childrens hospital preferred
  • Completion of one full travel assignment
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Pediatric Board Certified (PS) preferred
  • Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in work history and verified before offer
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working at a dedicated Pediatric Hospital
  • Pediatric Board Certification (PS)
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates are expected to have prior pediatric sonography experience and certification.
  • Previous employment with Johns Hopkins health system facilities is a requirement for rehire eligibility if applicable.
  • The assignment begins on 07/27/2026, with a minimum work week of 36 hours.
