About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3+ years of circulating experience required License: Active Illinois RN License Certifications: Active BLS, Active ACLS Must-Have: Proficient in orthopedic procedures including total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements. Proficient in general, neuro, vascular, gynecology, and urology procedures. Skills checklist current to 1 year in Operating Room specialty. Two supervisory references with employment dates. Description: Operating Room Nurses are responsible for performing nursing practice at a competent level. They adhere to standards of practice for the specialty area. They provide patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach. They maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members. They operate according to principles of patient-focused care and customer service.
