Inventory Control Coordinator

Inventory SpecialistIn this role, your responsibilities will be:Create, maintain, and audit inventory locations physically as well as in JDEPerform cycle counts and locate missing product.Investigate inventory discrepancies, including negative on-hand inventory, and report findingsConduct aisle audits, make corrections, and report results.Transfer material to and from other locations physically and in JDERecommend and train on improvements to inventory transfer processCommunicate with a variety of departments, internally and externallyEscalate inventory and quality issues as needed.Put away extra parts.Help prepare, count, and reconcile physical inventory.Maintain safety and housekeeping standardsOther duties as assignedFor this role, you will need:High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level1 year experience working in manufacturing or distribution centerStrong attention to detailStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions with limited supervision.Proficient in creating Excel spreadsheets and writing Word documentsAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70lbsAbility to do other duties as assignedAbility to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torsoAbility to pass forklift certification physical, written exam, and driving demonstrationWorking conditions:Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil and water.
