Key facts Location: Barcelona, Spain Engagement: Full-time Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Visa: Sponsorship available for qualified candidates What you'll do Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces that are responsive and visually appealing, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. Develop and maintain server-side applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application capabilities and improve data processing. Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and promote knowledge sharing within the team. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and tools. Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments, ensuring reliability and scalability. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and end-users as needed. Document development processes, code changes, and application features to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflow, including agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 3 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Solid experience with back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails. Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB). Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A passion for technology and a desire to stay current with industry advancements. Nice to have Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment. Previous experience in the aerospace or satellite industry is a plus. Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
