Inventory Analyst

We are looking for a person to assist our busy Tooling department with the planning and data analysis of inventory. Attention to detail is very important, watching for notes, and reviewing all data.

Productivity is a distributor of Machine Tools, Tooling and Accessories, Industrial Supplies, Robotics, and Services that help organizations overcome production challenges, streamline their operations and increase profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across assigned product categories.
• Analyze inventory usage, demand trends, and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with purchasing to recommend reorder quantities and timing.
• Support inventory planning initiatives such as buy-aheads.
• Investigate inventory variances and root causes.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.
• Communicate inventory status, risks, and recommendations to internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Backup to Purchasing & Tool-Expedite teams.
