Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in an acute care setting License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and ESI Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room - Willingness to float to other areas as needed - Ability to manage a high volume of patients Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. Applicants must have experience working with highly acute patients. The role involves caring for a variety of patient populations, including those needing specialized services such as transplant care and burn management. The department is fast-paced, and nurses will encounter a range of medical emergencies. Nurses will need to demonstrate proficiency in advanced clinical skills including, but not limited to, arterial line management, intubation, and continuous IV sedation. The ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team is essential. Nurses will be required to manage patient care with an emphasis on quality and safety. Shift work includes rotating weekend call responsibilities. Candidates must have a strong knowledge base in the treatment of acute conditions.
