Laundry Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to established procedures
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
• Inspect laundry items for damage or stains and report any issues to management
• Fold, organize, and store clean laundry in designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the laundry area and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
