They are recognized internally and externally as experts in their area. Strategists use their highly specialized knowledge of financial markets and client demand across institutional and retail channels to lead business opportunities within their sector or investment style – effectively operating as focused global business units within PIMCO. This includes raising capital for new and existing investment solutions and ensuring that PIMCO has the right suite of products to meet evolving client demand and market opportunities. Product Strategist teams typically consist of 3–7 professionals, including senior strategists and junior associates/analysts who support reporting, analytics, and execution.We are seeking an AI Enablement Lead to drive the adoption of AI across the Product Strategy Group and fundamentally reshape how the function operates. This role is focused on enhancing the full Product Strategist lifecycle – from identifying business opportunities and launching and pricing products, to scaling distribution and client acquisition, to improving marketing content and ongoing client servicing, and reducing lower-value manual work. The objective is not just efficiency, but to improve the quality, speed, and consistency of how Product Strategists execute and engage with clients. The AI Enablement Lead will identify where AI can meaningfully augment each stage of this lifecycle – helping teams better synthesize information, move faster from idea to product, create higher-quality client content at scale, and operate with greater precision. This individual will then work with business stakeholders and Technology team to bring these capabilities into production. The qualified candidate has experience deploying AI tools and workflow solutions at enterprise scale and can operate effectively at the intersection of business, product, and technology. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors.
