Overview:

We're looking for AI Design Engineers based in India to join our team! We are looking for AI-native individuals with a deep passion for UX and design who blend strong consumer instincts with the execution chops of a strong engineer. This role is perfect for builders who thrive at the intersection of user experience, visual design, rapid prototyping, and shipping polished, delightful, customer-facing features.

You'll own problems and product development end-to-end — from understanding the customer need to crafting an intuitive, beautifully designed solution to shipping fast, reliable, AI-powered experiences. You won't be confined to "product," "design," or "engineering" boxes. You'll do all three. And you'll move fast.

Qualifications:

• Strong front-end engineering skills (React or similar), with a demonstrated eye for visual design, interaction design, and typography.
• Demonstrated ability to own a design problem from concept — wireframes, flows, prototypes — through shipped, polished solution.
• Experience building customer-facing products, design systems, internal tools, or prototypes with a strong emphasis on usability and visual craft.
• Comfort working across product, design, and engineering boundaries — writing specs, designing user flows, creating mockups/prototypes, and building the solution.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate design and development (e.g., AI design/prototyping tools, chat-based coding assistants, automation tools).
• Portfolio or examples demonstrating strong UX/UI sensibility and shipped, customer-facing design work.
• Excellent communication skills across cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams.
• A customer-obsessed mindset — grounding design decisions in user needs, usability research, and real behavior.
• Ability to move quickly, make sound design and engineering tradeoffs, and iterate based on user feedback and evidence.
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma or similar) and cloud environments (any major provider).
• Comfort analyzing usage data and qualitative feedback to identify friction points and guide design improvements.
• Experience working in fast-paced, highly iterative environments.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and deeply understand customer experience problems through user research, data, feedback, and direct observation.
• Define AI-powered features or UX improvements, including writing crisp problem statements, user flows, wireframes, and success criteria.
• Prototype and build end-to-end solutions, spanning front-end, interaction design, and AI-powered logic.
• Design and refine intuitive, visually polished interfaces that make complex AI-powered features feel simple and delightful.
• Integrate AI into products thoughtfully, prioritizing user value, usability, and reliable outcomes over novelty.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality, well-designed features quickly.
• Own quality and craft, ensuring what you ship is fast, reliable, accessible, and delightful to use.
• Set up measurement and feedback loops (usability testing, analytics, user feedback) to continuously improve the experience.
• Operate like an owner, accountable for both the design quality and the impact of what you build.
