Role:

Daycare Manager has a true passion for dogs and people. They are excited to be a part of a team and manage all aspects of operations and personnel, and takes ownership of the business' profit/loss.

Requirements:

• A genuine love of dogs and belief in our mission
• 2+ years of management experience preferred and 3+ years of relevant experience as an animal caretaker, kennel assistant, kennel technician, dog daycare attendant, veterinary assistant, dog walker, or pet sitter.
• Strong problem solver and effective communicator
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to effectively give and receive positive/construction feedback
• Positive, highly motivated self-starter
• Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Be physically able – you will be on your feet almost all the time and the job requires lifting of up to 40 lbs
• Ability to pass a criminal background test

What you do:

• Manage team of 15-20 employees
• Manage and care for our dogs!
• Ability to effectively manage, discipline and lead team members while building a fun and hardworking culture
• Take responsibility to drive revenue while effectively managing the cost structure
• Work with staff to ensure best-in-class customer service to both the human customers and dogs
• Foster a positive and happy work environment and maintain positive store morale
• Consistently and quickly exercise professional judgement
• Be dependable, trustworthy, and show up for shifts on time

Job Type: Full-time
