Local HAZMAT CDL-A Driver - Monday - Friday

Location: Würth Baer Supply Company - 13390 Cloverdale St, Oak Park, MI 48237

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am ET start time - ending at approximately 2:00pm ET with occasional overtime required based on customer needs

Number of Daily Stops: 10 to 15 varying in MI, OH, and IN when needed.

Loading Process: Warehouse associates load truck the prior day for next day's route. You will have to assist with loading duties as well as wrapping, etc. as needed.

Unloading Process: Some customers to unload their materials with a forklift upon delivery, but you will also be required to assist by hand as needed.

Truck Type: 53-foot curtain side truck (Conestoga style) + 24-foot straight truck

Transmission Type: Automatic in aforementioned vehicles but must know how to drive 10-speed manual transmissions in case Penske (who we lease our trucks from) sends us a manual during routine maintenance which can happen occasionally.

Starting Pay: $28.00/HR (non-negotiable)

• Performance Bonus: In addition to the benefits below, drivers receive a $2000 performance bonus (taxable). Half at 3 months (90 days) and half at 6 month s (180 days) for being in good standing with the company.
• Good Standing Defined: Consistent on-time arrival, safe operation and conduct, good attitude, good attendance, adherence to principles in company handbook and expectations set by management.

Product Summary: Cabinetry Hardware (drawer slides/hinges/handles), lumber, PPE, laminate countertop materials, plywood/laminates (“sheet goods”), cabinetry, paint/stain (AKA “finish and coatings”), fasteners, sandpaper goods (“abrasives”), sinks, lighting, woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Those are some of the main categories of goods.

HAZMAT Goods: Adhesives, Paint, Stains, Lacquer, etc. Must have a HAZMAT endorsement.

License Requirement: CDL-A

DOT Med Cert: Must have a current and valid DOT Med Cert
