Family Medicine Clerkship Director opening – Dayton, OH Position Details

• Academic leadership position
• Responsible for directing the Family Medicine clerkship, ensuring alignment with LCME accreditation standards and medical school learning objectives
• Direct involvement in curriculum development, didactic teaching, student precepting, and mentorship
• Oversight of student evaluation, feedback, patient encounter tracking, and adherence to policies
• Collaboration with course directors, faculty, and affiliated clinical sites
• Ongoing clinical practice required, reflecting the highest standards of care and professionalism
• Active role in academic development, learner experiences, community-based research, and programming
• Participation in continuous improvement and evaluation of the residency program
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Family Medicine ‚Äì Required
• Active medical license ‚Äì Required
• Experience in both clinical practice and medical education with demonstrated leadership skills ‚Äì Required
• Knowledge of medical education principles and accreditation standards (LCME/ACGME) ‚Äì Required
