Overview- Department: Physical Therapy Outpatient
- Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
- Facility: Orthopedic Center
- Location: Auburn, ME 04210
- Outpatient setting within a hospital environment.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
- Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Focus on individualized patient care.
- One-on-one therapy sessions.
- No double bookings or overlapping appointments.
- Schedule driven by therapists.
- New graduates in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and training opportunities available.

ResponsibilitiesThe role involves providing medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring function, while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Patient-centered care is delivered in line with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery objectives.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain it thereafter.
