Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Overview Hourly Pay:

• 21.00/hour for candidates with a high school diploma or GED.
• 22.00/hour for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Full-time, On-siteposition Location: 77 Trails End Road Eureka, Montana 59917 New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus , distributed in three $500 installments—after 30 days, six months, and twelve months of employment—contingent upon continued employment and meeting eligibility requirements. As a Direct Support Professional , you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescents ages (13-18) in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. Every day you will participate and guide teen girls in experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, hiking, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis, you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens. Responsibilities Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Leads and Shift Managers At end of shift, document client progress notes daily With an empathetic heart encourages teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications Qualifications Age: Must be at least 21+ years of age. Education (Required): High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Education (Preferred): Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education, or a related field. Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
