Upholstery Frame Carpenter

Overview Job Description: Briley's Upholstery Shop is looking for an experienced woodworker to join our team. We are an upholstery shop with a heavy emphasis on custom upholstered furniture. We have a history of providing the highest quality and craftsmanship to our clients. Responsibilities Reading construction drawings Operate various hand tools and woodworking equipment Cutting wood to assemble and prepare for upholstery Apply stain on visible areas of furniture such as feet or legs Assist with installation and tasks at job sites Communicate and teach shop procedures to others Comply with safety regulations and shop rules Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space Qualifications Good woodworking skills with an emphasis on upholstery frames a plus Knowledge of equipment and proper maintenance procedures Experience with stains Quality and production focused Attention to detail Ability to work well with others and to take direction Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality Physically fitness, including but not limited to being able to lift 50+ lbs Ability to teach others and share skills Must be self motivated and reliable Details Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday Driver's License: Required Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Briley's Upholstery Shop
