Radiology - MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Weekdays Hours per Shift: 8 hours (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: ARRT-R, BLS Must-Have: Minimum 1 year experience IV Starts experience 1.5 Siemens Avanto experience Description: The position is for an MRI Tech working weekdays from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.The daily caseload per technologist is approximately 12 patients with 1 room designated for MRI procedures.This role requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.ARRT-R and BLS certifications are mandatory.First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.Occasional weekend coverage may be required based on departmental needs.On-call duties include every Wednesday night and every 3rd weekend.Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.Floating between neighboring facilities may be necessary based on demand.The schedule is structured as a block with no flexibility for changes.Local candidates are welcome to apply.There should ideally be no more than 5 days of requested time off.Experience should include outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings.Experience with IV starts is critical for this role.Candidates must possess experience with 1.5 Siemens Avanto MRI equipment.The facility operates as an acute care hospital and serves as a teaching institution.Total staffed beds at the facility are 149.Charting is performed using Epic.A minimum of one supervisor reference is required for applicants.Candidates must comply with all background check requirements, including fingerprinting.Results for fingerprinting can take from one day up to several weeks.Travelers should be aware of the compliance process and requirements regarding state licensing and training modules. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
